Anthropic has launched Claude Cowork on mobile, web, and in the cloud starting with Max subscribers on July 7, 2026. The update enables background task execution and cross-device continuity while extending doubled usage limits through August 5.

This allows users to continue tasks across devices or keep them running in the background even when their laptop is closed.
Claude can send notifications to a user's phone when a Cowork task requires review or approval.
