Apple announced on May 18, 2026, that its Worldwide Developers Conference will take place June 8-12. The event, known as WWDC26, offers developers a first look at the latest Apple tools, technologies, and features. It also provides a chance to connect with Apple engineers and designers.

The conference brings together developers from around the world to explore tools, frameworks, and technologies for creating groundbreaking experiences across Apple platforms. WWDC26 kicks off June 8 with the Keynote at 10 a.m. PDT and the Platforms State of the Union at 1 p.m. PDT. These sessions introduce incredible updates for Apple platforms, including AI advancements and exciting new software and developer tools.

The Keynote provides a first look at the latest updates coming to Apple platforms. It streams on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel, with on-demand playback available afterward. The Platforms State of the Union takes a deeper dive into new features, APIs, and technologies that empower developers. It streams on the Apple Developer app, website, YouTube channel, and bilibili.

More than 100 new video sessions cover tools, technologies, and design, with developers learning directly from Apple engineers and designers. All sessions are available on the Apple Developer app, website, YouTube channel, and bilibili. Curated guides help navigate the week's announcements by platform and topic.

Group Labs consist of live online presentations and Q&A sessions hosted by Apple engineers and designers. Topics include Apple Intelligence, developer tools, design, graphics and games, and machine learning. The labs run Tuesday through Friday, last up to 60 minutes, and allow participants to ask and upvote questions. Apple experts also answer questions on the Apple Developer Forums.

The Apple Design Awards highlight developer craft, creativity, and technical expertise. This year's 36 finalists span the categories of Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics. The finalists were unveiled on the Apple Developer website, and winners will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Swift Student Challenge honored 350 winners, including 50 Distinguished Winners invited to Cupertino for a special three-day experience during WWDC week. Apple will welcome more than 1,000 developers, designers, and students to celebrate in person at Apple Park on June 8. All WWDC content is accessible via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel, with the conference also followed worldwide on LinkedIn, WeChat, and bilibili.
