ARC Raiders Hits 16 Million Sales in Nexon Q1 Report
TL;DRAI · 60 sec read

Nexon's Q1 2026 report states ARC Raiders sold 16 million copies total since October, including 4.6 million in Q1, making it the company's best-seller. Over half of active players exceed 100 hours. China betas and Frozen Trail update are planned. Metrics show sustained success despite update complaints.

Nexon has published its financial report for Q1 2026 detailing the performance of Embark Studios and ARC Raiders. The extraction adventure game released in October has sold through 16 million copies. This makes ARC Raiders the best-selling game in Nexon's history. The company shipped 4.6 million units in Q1 2026 alone.

The report confirms that ARC Raiders is maintaining exceptionally high engagement. More than half of active players have logged more than 100 hours of playtime. Nexon dubbed this level of engagement exceptionally high. These results come despite a recent downturn in sentiment for the title.

Despite recent complaints about Embark Studios' pivot away from monthly updates, the ARC Raiders ecosystem is going nowhere anytime soon. The game continues to sell like hot cakes. Nexon has sung the title's praises in the financial update and confirmed it is still exceeding expectations.

Nexon has obtained an ISBN license in China. Multiple closed beta tests are coming this year. These tests will introduce the title to a massive new market and bolster sales further.

Later this year ARC Raiders will undergo a monumental update named Frozen Trail. The update will introduce the largest map yet, multiple new ARC enemies, a massive ARC operation, and new ways to progress. This follows the announcement that Embark Studios is slowing down on iteration to keep things fresher with longer gaps between major updates.
The Q1 2026 financial report positions ARC Raiders as a continuing success for Nexon and Embark Studios. The combination of record sales, strong engagement metrics, planned market expansion, and upcoming content indicates sustained momentum for the game.
