Google makes Gemini 4 Argon available globally on October 13 to Pro and Ultra subscribers and API developers. The model reaches consumers in the Gemini app and AI Mode on search. France prices Pro at 21.99 euros monthly and Ultra at 99.99 euros monthly. API input costs 2 dollars per million tokens through November 30, 2026.

Google makes its Gemini 4 Argon model available globally starting Tuesday, October 13, for subscribers to Google AI Pro and Ultra plans, along with developers and companies accessing it via the Gemini API.

Previously, since the September 30 announcement, only certain cybersecurity teams in the Fairwind Program could use it.

Google expands access beyond initial cybersecurity users. Consumers reach the model inside the Gemini application and through AI Mode on the search engine. Neither the no-cost Gemini option nor the AI Plus plan (priced at 4.99 euros monthly, per Frandroid) qualifies.
Responses can reach one million tokens through a single API request.

According to Frandroid, within France the Pro level carries a 21.99 euros monthly fee, whereas Ultra begins at 99.99 euros monthly. Prior announcements had indicated initial availability solely for Ultra users, so the inclusion of Pro marks an unexpected addition.

API pricing starts at an introductory rate. Frandroid reports API charges of 2 dollars per million tokens input (roughly 1.80 euros before tax) and 10 dollars per million tokens output (roughly 8.90 euros before tax) through November 30, 2026. Rates then increase to double those amounts, while cached tokens receive a 95 percent discount.

Additional programs open for partners and researchers. Hundreds of new collaborators join the Fairwind Program and obtain a version of Argon lacking restrictions on cybersecurity functions. Researchers numbering 10,000 may request six months of complimentary elevated usage on Antigravity.

Argon targets long complex tasks across domains. Responses can reach one million tokens through a single API request. The Gemini app version supplies straighter answers that repeat less often and features a task execution mode operable without the user present at the device.
