NVIDIA on Wednesday announced an expansion of its Isaac open robotics development platform at GTC Berlin, adding a reference humanoid, datasets and a new runtime, along with updates to its robot learning framework.

Agile ONE SN reference humanoid
Agile Robots announced Agile ONE SN, a full-stack reference humanoid preconfigured with Isaac GR00T and powered by Jetson Thor, with planned integration of the NVIDIA Halos safety system. The robot stands 1.40 meters, weighs 40 kilograms and has 31 degrees of freedom, a 3-kilogram payload per arm and two five-finger WUJI Hand 2 hands with 20 degrees of freedom each. NVIDIA says the platform cuts setup time from weeks to days. It is scheduled to be available in early 2027, with interest from institutions including Stanford University and ETH Zurich.

Isaac Lab 3.0, an open source robot learning framework, is now generally available. Isaac OS is a new open source runtime built on Holoscan that connects AI, sensors, controls and robot hardware. NVIDIA is also releasing three open source reference workflows for DGX Station, including post-training Cosmos world models for synthetic data with ChatGPT Astra. The SimReady Central Library, with more than 2,000 simulation-ready assets, and the Human 1M Dataset are available on Hugging Face, with the full dataset open to Cosmos Coalition partners.

European partners
ABB Robotics, KUKA, Sereact, Universal Robots, Humanoid, Hexagon Robotics, Flexion, NEURA Robotics and Schaeffler are among the European companies building on NVIDIA's robotics stack. Agility, Dexory, FORT Robotics and KION are integrating Halos into their safety architectures, and SICK is evaluating it.

The Circuitry is a passion project I've always wanted to build, and I love the work behind it.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.

Any contribution is appreciated. If not, no pressure. Thanks for reading.
