Paramount Pictures is developing a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 film with Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and CD Projekt Red attached to produce, Deadline reports. Variety has confirmed the project, and CD Projekt Red’s joint CEO welcomed Paramount as a “future partner.” No director, cast or release date has been announced.

According to Deadline, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, known for producing the Transformers films, is attached to produce with CD Projekt Red, the game’s developer and franchise rights holder.

Despite its troubled 2020 launch, Cyberpunk 2077 became a major commercial success for CD Projekt Red, and its Phantom Liberty expansion has sold 15 million copies, according to Deadline.
