The Super Mario Galaxy Movie arrives on digital storefronts May 19 with over one hour of exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content, less than two months after its theatrical debut. The release includes detailed featurettes on the cast, music, settings and Easter eggs as the film tops the 2026 box office with $942 million earned to date.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is coming to digital platforms just about a month and a half since its theatrical release in April. Illumination and Nintendo’s animated sequel will be available on digital storefronts on May 19, according to Universal’s announcement.
Digital copies will feature over one hour of exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus content. The material includes multiple featurettes with favorite characters that delve into the film’s creation, cast, settings, themes, music, power-ups and hidden details.
