Apple releases the first developer beta of visionOS 27 hours after announcing it at WWDC26. The update adds Siri AI, Visual Intelligence features, and system fixes alongside iOS 27 and other releases. Full notes are not yet available. Enrolled developers can install it through Settings after backing up their Vision Pro. This lets them test the new tools before public launch.

Apple has released the first developer beta of visionOS 27 hours after announcing it during the WWDC26 keynote.

visionOS 27 announced alongside other updates. Apple announced visionOS 27 today alongside iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, watchOS 27, and tvOS 27. The new version introduces the Siri AI app, Visual Intelligence features, and under-the-hood improvements for system and reliability.

As expected, Apple is now rolling out the first wave of developer betas for the systems announced during the WWDC26 keynote, including visionOS 27.

Full release notes not yet published. Apple hasn’t published the full release notes yet. They will be available in a dedicated location referenced by the company.

The source indicates that 9to5Mac is digging through the new visionOS 27 beta 1 and will report back with findings that Apple might not have revealed during the keynote.

How to install the visionOS 27 developer beta. Users must first back up their Apple Vision Pro. Then open the Settings app, choose General, choose Software Update, select Beta Updates, and select visionOS Developer Beta.

The process applies specifically to those enrolled in the developer beta program for Apple Vision Pro. In the meantime, coverage of WWDC26 is available through the source's news hub.
