The action follows the Pentagon's March designation of the company as a supply chain risk and continues amid active litigation seeking to reverse that label.
Monday talks concluded without a deal or resolution; export controls on Fable 5 and Mythos 5 remain in place, with officials indicating it may take more than a few days to resolve.
Anthropic stated both parties are working quickly to resolve the export restrictions, in its first public comments since the models were pulled; talks also involved National Cyber Director Sean Cairncross.
