Apple: CarPlay Ultra Coming to Hyundai, Kia, Genesis
Apple confirms CarPlay Ultra will expand beyond Aston Martin to brands like Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis. The next-generation system offers deeper vehicle integration, potentially reaching more drivers soon.

In May 2025, Apple stated that many other vehicle brands plan to offer CarPlay Ultra, including Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis.
The system provides deeper integration with a vehicle's instrument cluster and systems, including built-in apps for radio and climate controls, plus rear-view camera feed support.
A connected iPhone supplies app-related data, while the vehicle shares details such as current speed, fuel level, tire pressure, and engine temperature.
The interface tailors to each vehicle model and automaker's identity, with preset design options available to drivers.
Earlier this year, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that CarPlay Ultra will arrive on at least one major new Hyundai or Kia model in the second half of 2026.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.
