Apple releases macOS's 15.2 dev beta 2
Apple releases macOS 15.2 developer beta 2 with companion betas for iOS and others. The update stabilizes the OS ahead of public testing and expanded Apple Intelligence features like Image Playground.

Beta 1 revealed code strings for Apple Intelligence features including Image Playground and Genmoji creation, though these remain disabled. Beta 2 focuses on refinements and bug fixes, with testers reporting no significant new additions, according to MacRumors and 9to5Mac.
Developers install the beta after backing up their Mac. They open System Settings > General > Software Update, click the info icon next to Beta Updates, select macOS Sequoia Developer Beta, and confirm.
Public betas typically mirror these developer builds and arrive soon after.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.
