Microsoft announced plans to embed chatbot-style commands into the Windows Task Bar search menu during its fall Surface event.

Redesigned search supports thousands of actions. Starting this fall, users will type short commands into the Search Menu to control settings, launch apps and manage files. The interface aims to replace traditional search with conversational input.
