Perplexity rolls out a native Comet AI browser experience for iPad with support for multitasking features like multiple windows and Split View. Perplexity rolls out a new native Comet experience for iPad, adding support for iPadOS multitasking features like multiple windows and Split View.

The update enhances the AI-powered web browser, which combines browsing with an AI chatbot powered by models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and others. Previously, Comet launched on Mac before arriving on iPhone in March, with only basic iPad support.

Comet now works alongside other iPad apps, the company announced on Twitter. "Today we’re rolling out a new native Comet experience for iPad," the Comet account posted. "Comet now works naturally with iPadOS features like multiple windows and Split View, so you can work with Comet alongside the apps you already use. Available now on the App Store."
Perplexity positions Comet as an early entrant in the AI-browsing space.

The Circuitry is a passion project I've always wanted to build, and I love the work behind it.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.

Any contribution is appreciated. If not, no pressure. Thanks for reading.

CISA Warns Hackers Are Actively Exploiting Severe Ubiquiti Flaws

CISA placed three severe Ubiquiti UniFi OS vulnerabilities and one critical Lantronix command injection flaw into its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on June 23, 2026, after confirming active attacks.
