Capcom ports Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Devil May Cry 5 and Dragon’s Dogma 2 to Switch 2. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave releases September 17 on Switch 2.

Apple WWDC 2026

Tim Cook unveils what's next for iOS, macOS, vision OS, and Apple Intelligence.

Apple announced iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, iPadOS 27 and visionOS 27 at WWDC 2026. The releases add a redesigned AI Siri, Liquid Glass transparency controls, up to 80 percent faster AirDrop, child safety restrictions, automatic compromised password changes and natural language Shortcuts creation. iOS 27 supports iPhone 11 and newer.

PC Gaming Show 2026

PC Gamer annual showcase - 50+ games and world premieres, right after the Xbox Games Showcase.

Stronghold 4 was revealed at the PC Gaming Show. The title features voice work by Samantha Béart and Ben Starr. It is the tenth entry in the series that launched 25 years ago.

Microsoft set Fable for February 23, Gears of War: E-Day for October 6 as Xbox exclusive, and Halo: Campaign Evolved for July 28. New titles include Spyro: A Realm Beyond in Spring 2027, Minecraft Dungeons II in Fall 2026, and DMZ on October 23. A translucent Series X25 marked Xbox's 25th anniversary.

Playstation State of Play

Sony showed seven minutes of Wolverine gameplay at State of Play. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was dated February 12, 2027. Ace Combat 8 launches October 2, 2026 on PS5. Stuntman: Hollywood was announced. Silent Hill: Townfall and Control Resonant both release September 24, 2026.

Microsoft Build 2026

Microsoft announced Windows 11 optimizations at Build 2026, adding native Linux command-line tools, WSL containers, an Intelligent Terminal, and simpler setups. It also released MAI-Thinking-1, a 35-billion-parameter reasoning model, among seven new in-house AI models focused on agents.

SpaceX Starship Flight 12 — First V3 Launch

Debut of the upgraded Starship V3, Raptor 3 engines, and the new Pad 2 at Starbase.

SpaceX launched the first Starship Version 3 on Flight 12 from the new Pad 2 at Starbase, Texas, on May 22, 2026 — a day after an initial attempt was scrubbed by a stuck tower-arm hydraulic pin. The upgraded vehicle, featuring next-generation Raptor 3 engines, greater fuel capacity and structural improvements, flew as planned, with the Ship completing a controlled splashdown in the Indian Ocean.

Google announced Gemini 3.5 Flash and Android XR glasses at I/O 2026 along with model, Search, and Workspace updates. The company deployed a full Gemini app redesign with Neural Expressive visuals and structured responses across Android, iOS, and web. Blackstone committed $5 billion to a U.S. AI infrastructure venture using Google TPUs for 500 MW capacity by 2027.
