Security flaw in Indonesia's IGRS leaks endgame footage from IO Interactive's 007: First Light online. Developers submit clips for age ratings, but the breach exposed material from the game, Echoes of Aincrad, and thousands of emails. This spoils plot points in the young Bond title ahead of its May 27 launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.

A security flaw in the Indonesian Game Rating System (IGRS) has leaked endgame footage from IO Interactive's upcoming James Bond game, 007: First Light, online.

IGRS assigns age ratings to games for sale in Indonesia. Developers submit relevant content, including footage, for rating approval. The flaw over the weekend exposed clips from First Light and several other titles.

According to VGC, the breach also affects Bandai Namco's Echoes of Aincrad and thousands of game developers' emails.
First Light depicts a young, brash Bond eager to prove himself. Originally slated for March, IO Interactive delayed it to May in late December. The game launches May 27 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, with a later Nintendo Switch 2 release.

GameStop CEO Forgoes $35B Bonus to Pursue eBay Takeover

GameStop has withdrawn Ryan Cohen's potential $35 billion performance bonus so the CEO can concentrate on acquiring eBay. The decision follows eBay's swift rejection of a $55 billion bid in May and precedes the planned release of additional strategic materials this week.

GTA 6 to use PS5 DualSense features, confirmed PS5 Pro enhanced

Sony and Rockstar Games have detailed several PS5 hardware features that Grand Theft Auto 6 will use exclusively, while confirming the title is PS5 Pro Enhanced without revealing specifics. Valve Opens SteamOS 3.8 to All PC Hardware

Valve has released SteamOS 3.8, enabling anyone to install the operating system on custom PC hardware to create their own Steam Machine. The update expands compatibility beyond AMD-only setups and brings the console-like experience to desktop builds, though Nvidia support remains in development.
