Onimusha: Way of the Sword targets September release. The forthcoming mainline entry in the long-running franchise is set to take players to 1500s Japan on 25th September. A playable demonstration is already live on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. A preview published last year observed that the title evoked Nioh and Nioh 2.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 joins the showcase lineup. The third instalment in the spin-off series will also feature in the broadcast, which is expected to summarise recent developments for the game.

Capcom reports strong sales from earlier 2026 releases. Pragmata launched in February following multiple delays and moved one million units within two days, eventually climbing to two million. Resident Evil Requiem likewise debuted that month and became the fastest-selling chapter across the series' more than 30-year lifespan, reaching seven million sales by April. Eurogamer's review granted the horror title five stars and described it as "legendary horror at an all-time high," while the sci-fi shooter earned four stars for its willingness to challenge established conventions.
