The European Commission reported these commitments amount to 30-35GW, while the formal Tripartite Agreement for Energy Storage document itself lists a total of 45GW.

The pact was unveiled on 26 June. Officials said it should foster a supportive commercial setting that enables rapid, large-scale expansion of storage infrastructure across Europe.
