Nationwide mobile outage. Orange confirmed to Actu.fr that all subscribers in France were affected, with calls, SMS and mobile data heavily disrupted, according to Linternaute. Downdetector reports peaked at nearly 11,500 at 11:50 a.m., according to 01net. Frandroid's newsroom said it had no Orange mobile network in either Paris or Brittany.
The disruption blocked calls, SMS, and data for Orange and Sosh customers throughout the country.

Fiber connections appeared unaffected, according to Frandroid and ZoneADSL, though Orange's 4G/5G home boxes, which run on the mobile network, were hit.

Orange confirms the disruption. In a post on X, Orange France said customers may be experiencing disruptions on the Orange mobile network and that its teams are fully mobilized to restore service as quickly as possible. Orange has not given a cause.

Partial return. Service began returning for some subscribers around 1:30 p.m. Paris time, but the outage was not fully resolved and Orange has not announced restoration.

Status site also down. Orange's own incident-tracking site was also unreachable, possibly due to a surge in traffic. Subscribers took to social media to report that they could not be reached once they left Wi-Fi.
