Tesla Launches £199 Monthly Renewable Energy Bundle in UK

Tesla launches a £199 monthly Renewable Energy Bundle in the UK with BOXT, offering eight solar panels and a Powerwall 3 on a four-year zero percent interest plan after a £1,747 deposit. Existing owners qualify; a Model 3 bundle costs £494 monthly. This lowers upfront costs, easing residential solar and battery adoption.

A new home energy package has arrived in Britain through Tesla's collaboration with approved installer BOXT. The Renewable Energy Bundle delivers an eight-panel solar array paired with a Powerwall 3 battery at £199 per month.

Drivers interested in purchasing a Model 3 can select a combined plan that folds in the car, solar panels and battery storage for a total of £494 monthly.

Under the standalone energy offer, customers enter a four-year financing agreement carrying zero percent interest and must pay an upfront deposit of £1,747. The promotional terms remain open only to current Tesla vehicle owners, according to the company.

The initiative reportedly seeks to encourage loyalty among existing customers and ease the shift toward home renewables for households that already charge electric vehicles. Those without a Tesla can still buy the solar and battery products directly from BOXT or enter the ecosystem by leasing a Model 3.

BOXT tailors combinations of Powerwall 3, Gateway equipment and Tesla solar panels to match each property's layout and consumption patterns. Full pricing details appear on BOXT’s dedicated Tesla promotion page.

The financing approach marks a departure from Tesla’s earlier sales model for its energy products. The company introduced a solar-plus-Powerwall lease option in the United States late last year; the British bundle appears to extend that push to shrink initial outlays.

High installation expenses have long deterred many households from adopting residential solar and storage. Spreading those costs across four years at zero interest removes a major obstacle, while the Model 3 bundle supplies one straightforward monthly figure that could attract newcomers seeking an integrated setup.
