NVIDIA Introduces DSX POD, Factory-Built Vera Rubin AI Factories That Deploy in as Little as 14 Days

NVIDIA's new DSX POD ships complete Vera Rubin AI factories in modular containers, cutting deployment at a prepared site from six months to as little as 14 days. The reference design, announced at GTC Berlin, moves compute, networking, cabling, power and liquid-cooling integration into partner factories, with partners working with NVIDIA to deliver units worldwide in early 2027.

NVIDIA on Wednesday introduced DSX POD, a reference design for complete NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI factories that partners build inside modular containers, then integrate and validate before delivery. The company announced it at GTC Berlin.

The units arrive ready to plug into a prepared site's power, cooling, networking and other supporting infrastructure. NVIDIA says this cuts deployment time from six months to as little as 14 days.

Moving the build into the factory
DSX POD shifts the integration and installation of computing, networking, cabling, rack-level power and liquid cooling from the data center site to the manufacturing facility. Partners finish rack-to-rack cabling, wiring, piping and functional validation before shipment, while the site is prepared separately.

NVIDIA says the factory-tested containers reduce exposure to component delays and to costly, error-prone onsite work. They also shorten the path to model training and production inference. The company frames the gain as time to first token, the point when a new AI factory starts serving production workloads and earning revenue.

"An AI factory creates value when it starts producing tokens — not when construction is complete," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. "With NVIDIA DSX POD, we're bringing factory-built precision and speed to AI infrastructure construction — reducing deployment time from months to weeks so customers can scale capacity and bring revenue-generating production online faster."

DSX POD follows the design approach of NVIDIA's broader DSX infrastructure platform, with its own architecture built around purpose-built containers.

Partners and availability
NVIDIA is working with Anduril, Armada, Bull, Crusoe, DayOne, Dell Technologies, Delta, Eaton, Foxconn (Ingrasys), GIGABYTE, HPE, Lenovo, Pegatron, Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), Schneider Electric, Vertiv and Wistron. Those partners are working with NVIDIA to deliver DSX POD AI factories worldwide in early 2027.

The Circuitry is a passion project I've always wanted to build, and I love the work behind it.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.

Any contribution is appreciated. If not, no pressure. Thanks for reading.
