Steam's client beta adds Achievement Sets so developers can group base-game, DLC, and seasonal achievements without resetting existing completion. The redesigned achievements page adds friend comparison and filters, and 17 titles support the feature in beta.

Steam's client beta now ships Achievement Sets, which let developers split a game's achievements into separate groups so DLC or seasonal content does not wipe a player's existing 100% record.

Base-game and DLC progress are tracked separately. Developers can carve achievements into categories such as single-player or multiplayer. Base-game sets show blue progress bars; DLC sets show purple and only unlock once the add-on is owned. Clearing every achievement in a set earns a set-specific trophy.
Seasonal and temporary sets can be archived after expiration.

Limited-time sets can be archived. Seasonal or event achievements can later be hidden from everyone except players who finished them while they were active.

The achievements page is redesigned around sets. It surfaces overall progress, per-set detail, and individual unlocks. New filters sort by set or lock status, and players can check results against as many as three friends, covering scarce unlocks and DLC content.

Library and profile showcases follow suit. A renamed completed tab lists finished games and finished sets. Completed sets can appear in the Completionist Showcase, and Family Sharing activity shows up in game lists for friend comparisons.
