Discontinuation takes effect this month. The items will no longer be available for purchase on any platform after 24 June at 5pm PT (25 June at 1am BST), although anything already owned can "still be used".
The announcement arrived shortly after last week's Nintendo Direct, where the surprise reveal of Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for Nintendo Switch 2 drew widespread attention.
The studio posted the news to the game's social media accounts on 11 June. It pointed to "the development of additional content and various adjustments for the upcoming title update" as the reason several in-game items are being retired.
