Visuals and story point to a prequel relationship with Three Houses. The game leans more toward Three Houses than other entries. The opening of the trailer features a map of the Dagdan Empire, a remote and unexplored continent located southwest of Fodlan, beyond Brigid.
Its opening image of the Dagdan Empire map has all but confirmed that the newest entry is a prequel to Three Houses.
Not much is revealed about Dagda in Three Houses other than its many attempts to wage war and conquer Fodlan. The trailer includes glimpses of demonic beasts and weapons that look to have crest stones inside. Characters sport the signature Nabatean look of green or blonde hair and pointed ears.
Sothis appeared in the reveal trailer and returns in the release trailer. From the looks of it, she will be tackling with dark forces that wish to see her dead. The presence of Sothis suggests she will have major significance in the story.
