Meta Newsroom introduced spaces as a way to create and customize experiences in the Muse app.

Morning Brief

Meta Newsroom announced spaces, an interactive feature to build a more customized experience in the Muse app. A space is a custom experience created inside Muse by describing an idea such as a holiday gift tracker, daily word game, or planning board for a DIY project. It is shaped around routines, goals, and interests and becomes part of Muse for ongoing access.

Users tell Muse about an idea and it builds the space. Adjustments can be made by adding missing elements, trying a new look, or changing how it works. Spaces can be placed in the sidebar, moved into main tabs, hidden, or scheduled to appear at specific times, such as keeping a weekly planner visible during the workweek and swapping it for weekend plans.

Meta Newsroom listed examples including a shopping hub that combines holiday gift ideas, wishlists, and Marketplace listings; a school dashboard; a music tracker; a wedding planner; a trivia game; a podcast studio; an order tracker; a client hub; and a trip planner. Spaces connect to apps and update in the background with new information. Users can check items off, add notes, and make edits directly in the space.

The Circuitry is a passion project I've always wanted to build, and I love the work behind it.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.

Any contribution is appreciated. If not, no pressure. Thanks for reading.
