Meta Newsroom says it is rolling out voice and expressive avatars in the Muse app, giving users a new natural way to interact with their Muse. The company previewed real-time conversations at Connect 2026 and is now making the feature available on mobile, web and Mac by tapping the phone icon in the top-right corner.

Meta Newsroom says users can talk through ideas with Muse on a walk or while making dinner, allowing the AI to pick up the thread without exact prompts. The feature also supports rehearsing job interviews, presentations or pitches by hearing responses in the moment. As Muse speaks, the avatar uses subtle expressions and gestures that match the conversation tone and reacts while the user talks.

The Circuitry is a passion project I've always wanted to build, and I love the work behind it.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.
