Apple Newsroom announced expanded language support for the redesigned Health app, bringing personalized health insights to millions of people worldwide. The update adds support for global English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Built with Apple Intelligence at its core, the Health app dynamically adapts to an individual’s health metrics across iPhone and iPad while securely and privately protecting user data.

The updated experience includes a new Insights tab that surfaces timely, holistic summaries spanning heart, sleep, readiness, fitness, vitals, and cycle tracking data. A dedicated For You section delivers intelligent recommendations tailored to a user’s daily habits. The app pairs data with dynamic health content, offering educational videos and articles featuring Health app clinical experts.

A new Longevity tab analyzes longitudinal metrics across heart health, sleep, mental wellbeing, movement, metabolic health, hearing, and nutrition. Central to this tab is Health Age, which translates data from Apple Watch into a metric that reflects how a user’s body is tracking relative to their chronological age. Users can also incorporate clinical laboratory data to enrich their long-term health picture.

The update introduces at-home movement evaluations using an iPhone camera and Apple Watch to measure flexibility, strength, balance, movement mechanics, and VO2 max with real-time audio and visual feedback. Powered by on-device vision-based AI models and developed with clinical experts, the experience runs entirely on device with no video recorded, stored, or shared.

The Circuitry is a passion project I've always wanted to build, and I love the work behind it.

Running it costs real money. APIs, hosting, time. To keep improving the site and growing this into something useful for everyone, those costs have to be covered.

Any contribution is appreciated. If not, no pressure. Thanks for reading.
