Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, the Nickelodeon-themed fighter and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide as the free PS Plus Essential games for June 2026, available to download starting June 2. The announcement details each title's features and platforms while noting ongoing access to May's games and the service's recent price increases.
Grounded Fully Yoked Edition
Obsidian Entertainment’s survival title places diminutive characters in a hostile backyard world. Participants can play alone or team with as many as three others online to collect materials, construct bases, fashion equipment and fend off hostile wildlife. The “Fully Yoked Edition” designation matches the 1.4 update issued in 2024 that introduced additional ant queens, new-game-plus options and further content. That same patch marked the game’s debut on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch after earlier launches on Xbox and Windows PC. The edition will be offered on both PS4 and PS5.New characters Squidward Tentacles, Jimmy Neutron, and the Angry Beavers join the roster.
Nickelodeon fighter
The platform brawler sequel to the Smash Bros.-style original adds full voice acting across its cast, cross-play support and refreshed visuals. Squidward Tentacles, Jimmy Neutron and the Angry Beavers expand the roster. A roguelike narrative mode and assorted side games provide options for single-player sessions. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Fatshark’s cooperative first-person shooter follows the Left 4 Dead-inspired formula established in Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Teams undertake dangerous assignments on behalf of the Imperium, battling through hordes afflicted by Nurgle before returning to the starship hub known as The Mourningstar. The game is available on PS5 only.It is a cooperative first-person shooter where you and a ragtag crew are hauled off on a series of harrowing missions for the fascist Imperium.

Ubisoft has announced a new Ghost Recon game is in the works during the franchise's 25th anniversary stream. The reveal offers few details while also launching a major update and free-play period for 2017's Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Nintendo moved 3.82 million Switch 2 consoles in the quarter ending June 30, bringing cumulative sales to 23.68 million units after 13 months and surpassing the original Switch's 17.79 million in the same window. Operating profit grew 150.5 percent thanks to software momentum and tariff refunds, while new titles and legacy games kept momentum high.
A report from Dealabs Magazine claims Diablo 4 will release on Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 15 or 18 for $69.99 as a code-in-box edition. The news would add another major third-party title to the Switch 2 lineup ahead of a possible Gamescom reveal.
