Tenstorrent, the AI computing company led by chip architect Jim Keller, has closed a $1.5 billion Series E at a $6.2 billion post-money valuation, the company announced Oct. 19.

Trace Capital and Innovation X led the round.

Participants included ARK Invest, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Morgan Stanley, Sandisk, T. Rowe Price, Tether Investments, Virtu Financial, XTX Markets and others. Reuters said the round more than doubles Tenstorrent's valuation from December 2024, when it raised more than $693 million at a $2 billion pre-money valuation.
