Rockstar confirmed the next Grand Theft Auto title's physical PS5 editions ship with a download code instead of a disc, with pre-orders opening within 24 hours and preload starting November 12 for a November 19 launch. The move eliminates physical media from boxed copies while maintaining the same day-one access for all pre-order customers.
Instead, each physical package contains a code redeemable for the full digital download.
Physical copies of GTAVI will contain a code that can be redeemed for the digital download of the game.
